- I had problems with floppy disks ages ago but not any recently (well over
- 3 years). As for small, yes, speed could be better but is alright. ZIPs
- are not standard enough for everyone to be using yet and not everyone has
- the option to write to CD-ROMs.

- Zip drives would raise the price too much for the overall product (for
- the lowend at least) and would raise software prices. I don't mind
- downloading stuff from the net or BBSs but when it comes to backing up
- stuff from one computer to another or exchanging data from one computer
- to a friend's computer, floppies still come in handy.

- Oh most definately.. I think AT wants to earn some extra money if they do
- take the floppy out by supplying owners with the floppy drives themselves
- if they still have to be the Amiga specific ones. By not including a
- Hard Drive would take away their risk of their Hard Drives devaluing but
- would also take away their possibility of taking advantage of this thus
- earning money.
