  26. I had problems with floppy disks ages ago but not any recently (well over 
  27. 3 years).  As for small, yes, speed could be better but is alright. ZIPs 
  28. are not standard enough for everyone to be using yet and not everyone has 
  29. the option to write to CD-ROMs.

  34. Zip drives would raise the price too much for the overall product (for 
  35. the lowend at least) and would raise software prices.  I don't mind 
  36. downloading stuff from the net or BBSs but when it comes to backing up 
  37. stuff from one computer to another or exchanging data from one computer 
  38. to a friend's computer, floppies still come in handy.

  43. Oh most definately.. I think AT wants to earn some extra money if they do 
  44. take the floppy out by supplying owners with the floppy drives themselves 
  45. if they still have to be the Amiga specific ones.  By not including a 
  46. Hard Drive would take away their risk of their Hard Drives devaluing but 
  47. would also take away their possibility of taking advantage of this thus 
  48. earning money.
